The Game
The question cards encourage genuine conversations and motivate players to share their thoughts and experiences. Follow-up questions help keep the discussion going, ranging from lighthearted to deeper topics. To prevent repetition, there are combination spaces that require a different way of responding.
In addition to question cards, Bonds & Banter also includes dilemma cards for humor and lightness, as well as group questions that involve everyone in discussions. This naturally sparks conversations and helps players discover which people or communities suit them best.
How It Works
Bonds & Banter is a board game played with four players, the small group size encourages personal interaction between participants. Before the game begins, players fill out a card with their name, class, and contact information. This way, participants keep the contact details of their new connections after the game ends.
When the game starts, players take turns rolling a die to move through the board. After each roll, a player lands on a space, which can include actions such as “Take three steps back,” or prompt cards like question cards, dilemma cards, statements, or scenarios.
