UI-UX design - Protoyping
This is a recipe app specifically developed for people between the ages of 40 and 60. The app is simple and user-friendly, tailored to the needs of this age group.
The Proces
Within the group, I focused on the app's UX and its illustrative elements.
Since the target audience is between 40 and 60 years old, we opted for a minimalist design. This makes the app easy to navigate and free of distractions.
The navigation bar allows users to easily switch between Home, Search, and Favorites. The essential pages for finding and saving recipes.
Homepage
We’ve used clear icons to keep the screens organized and structured, such as for preparation time and calories.
The information is divided into different sections, such as Ingredients, Equipment, and Nutritional Information. This ensures that users aren’t overwhelmed with information and that everything is easy to understand.
Follow The Recipes
We’ve focused on making the app user-friendly and accessible. For situations where users have dirty hands or can’t use their hands, we’ve added voice control.
We’ve also implemented a text-to-speech feature for visually impaired users, with options to adjust the speech rate, change the language, enable dark mode, turn timer notifications on or off, and change the text size.
